Information this website collects

Email updates

If you use the email form on the Contact page, we ask for your email address and first name. When you press Subscribe, your browser sends those two fields to Brevo, the company that stores the list and sends the messages. We use the list for season dates, cancellations, and opening night.

Email and phone

If you email info@sandimasfarmersmarket.com or call 909-581-4744, we receive what you choose to send: your number or email address, and whatever you say. We use that to answer you and to run the market. We may write down what we need from a call.

Vendor waiting list

The vendor waiting list is a Google Form run for Advocates for Healthy Living, Inc. It asks for your name, email, phone number, vendor type, and what you want to sell. The form is on Google’s website. If you open it and submit it, Google stores the answers and we use them to manage the waiting list.

Technical logs

The site is hosted by Vercel, Inc. When your browser requests a page, the host may record the IP address, date and time, the page address, browser type, and the referring site if your browser sends one. Those logs are used to deliver the site and to look into security problems. We do not use them to build a marketing profile.

The site does not ask for payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, EBT card numbers, or precise location from your device.

How we use information

  • Send the market emails you signed up for.
  • Reply to questions, vendor requests, and volunteer offers.
  • Keep the waiting list and plan the market.
  • Keep the website available and look into abuse of it.

Selling and advertising

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, which means we do not give it to other companies so they can advertise to you on other websites.

Service providers and other sites

  • Brevo (a Sendinblue company) stores newsletter email addresses and first names and sends the messages, if you subscribe.
  • Google hosts the vendor waiting-list form. We do not send your information to Google just because you view this site. The map on the Visit page is a picture stored on our site. If you choose “Open in Google Maps,” you leave this site and Google receives the address in that link.
  • Vercel hosts the website and may keep the technical logs described above.

Links to Facebook, Instagram, the City of San Dimas website, and afhl.org leave this site. We do not control those sites. While you are on this website, we do not authorize other companies to collect personally identifiable information about your activity over time and across other websites.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set cookies. It does not use analytics, advertising pixels, social-media pixels, or embedded third-party frames. Pages load our own stylesheet, font files, images, and js/site.js. That script updates the season notice and the menu. It does not use cookies or browser storage.

Choosing Subscribe contacts Brevo from your browser. Opening the vendor form, Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, the city website, afhl.org, or the backup signup page on Brevo’s site takes you to that other site. Those sites can set their own cookies under their own rules. We do not load their scripts on our pages.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

This website does not track you over time or across other websites. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, the site behaves the same way, because there is no tracking to turn off. We treat that signal as a request not to be tracked, and we comply by not tracking.

Global Privacy Control is a browser signal that asks sites not to sell or share personal information. We honor it. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not turn on analytics or advertising tools. A Global Privacy Control signal does not change what this site loads, because those tools are not in use.

Children

This website is a community market site. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 gave us personal information, email or call us and we will delete it.

How long we keep information

  • Newsletter email and first name: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Brevo holds the list.
  • Emails you send and notes from calls: as long as we need them to answer you and to run the market, then we delete them.
  • Vendor-form answers: while we are considering vendors for a current or upcoming season. Ask us and we will delete the entry we can find in the form responses.
  • Hosting logs: Vercel keeps them for a limited time for operations and security. We do not set that retention period.

We may keep a record longer when we need it for security or a legal obligation.

Security

Pages are served over HTTPS, which protects information while it moves between your browser and the site. Email and phone are not fully private channels. Please don’t send payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or other highly sensitive information. No website can promise that information will never be lost or misused.

California residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act generally applies to for-profit businesses that meet certain size thresholds. Advocates for Healthy Living, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation, so those business duties may not apply to us. We still honor the following requests from California residents, and from anyone else who asks:

  • A copy of the personal information we have about you.
  • A correction, if something we have is wrong.
  • Deletion of personal information we have, except a record we need for security or a legal obligation.
  • Removal from the email list.

Asking will not change your ability to visit the market or to keep getting email you still want. If someone contacts us on your behalf, we may ask you to confirm the request so we don’t change or delete the wrong person’s information. Email info@sandimasfarmersmarket.com or call 909-581-4744. Tell us the email address or phone number you used so we can find the record. We will reply within 30 days. Deleting a record stored in Brevo or Google Forms can take a little longer than the reply.

To review or change what you sent, use the same email or phone number. If we cannot find a record, we will tell you that.

Unsubscribe or deletion

Market emails include an unsubscribe link from Brevo. You can also email or call us and ask to be removed, or ask us to delete the vendor-form entry or other information described above.

Changes to this notice

We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. If we materially change how we use email addresses we already have, we will also send a note to the email list. See also the terms of use and the accessibility statement.
